Global Investment Staff
Global Investment Staff is a small team of generalist investors responsible for allocating MIT’s capital to the most compelling public and private investment opportunities worldwide across a variety of strategies. We invest primarily through close partnerships with external investment managers. We enjoy partnering with investment firms early and seeking out unconventional opportunities.
Cambridge Real Estate
Cambridge Real Estate manages MIT’s commercial real estate holdings around the Institute’s campus in Cambridge, MA. The team works closely with MIT’s senior leadership and the Cambridge community to pursue a long-term real estate strategy to elevate the innovation ecosystem and build the local community in and around MIT.
Operations
Our Operations team safeguards MIT’s investments through the development of robust infrastructure; insightful reporting and analysis; and strong compliance, governance, and risk frameworks. The team works as a sounding board for our external investment managers and builds partnerships with external service providers, investment affiliates, and others.
