Our emerging manager program allows us to invest much earlier than most others are willing.
- Firms with $5 million or less of assets under management (AUM)
- Portfolio managers with just a few years of investment experience
- Investors with little or no investment track record

To maximize the talent and potential of the investors we work with, we are willing to work with firms with unusual characteristics.
- One-person shops where the person managing our money is the sole employee
- Non-institutional firms that do not have other LPs besides MIT
- Firms whose strategies for success require long holding periods and long periods of inactivity
- Investors based far away from typical financial centers
- Firms with unusual structures, such as evergreen funds
